Today's clouds will fade away into a sunshine filled week, according to the National Weather Service in Juneau.

Meteorologist David Levin says temps could even hit record highs, "It looks really nice for the entire week through the weekend. Today through Sunday looks sunny, with temps gradually warming. By Friday, it looks like we will be approaching 70 degrees. From what I saw yesterday, a lot of the records for this time of year are in the low 70's and we're going to be right up there in that range, so it's definitely possible we could get some record highs, especially on Friday or Saturday, which look like the warmest days."

Today's high is expected to be in the upper 50's as skies begin to clear out this afternoon.
