Alaska troopers investigate 2 deaths as double homicide

    Troopers say they are investigating the deaths of two people found dead in a burning home near Wasilla.

    ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) — Alaska State Troopers say they are investigating the deaths of two people found dead in a burning home near Wasilla as a double homicide.

    Troopers on Tuesday identified the victims as 30-year-old Crystal Denardi and 43-year-old Ben Gross, both of Wasilla. According to troopers, the two were shot.

    A third person found at the home was treated for injuries at a hospital and released.

    Troopers in Palmer took a call early Sunday morning about a possible shooting.
