Alaskans honor man killed in Las Vegas shooting

    Anchorage, Alaska (KINY) Hundreds of friends and neighbors came to honor an Anchorage man who was shot to death at the mass shooting in Las Vegas while attending a country music concert.

    Adrian Murfitt was one of two Alaskans killed in the incident, the other was Dorene Anderson, 49, of Anchorage.  58 people died in the carnage.

    Murfitt was a native of Anchorage, and a commercial fisherman.  He spent summers in Bristol Bay.  Another Alaska resident, Rob McIntosh, was shot three times but he recovered.  He was released from the hospital October 11th and was recovering in Las Vegas at last report.
