The Committee of the Whole meets Monday evening.
CBJ Assembly member Jerry Nankervis gave an overview of the agenda on Action Line Friday, "The Treadwell Advisory Board will get an update, we will get an update on the Airport Sustainability, we have a resolution regarding moving money at the airport for different reasons, and we have an update from the Lands department on the Renniger subdivision. We put that out for bid and had some interest."
Nankervis gave more detail on who's interested in the subdivision lots, "There were six lots. Alaska Housing Finance was interested in the two which are directly behind their Gruening Park. The Home Building Program expressed an interest in the one above the hill so the Pacific Development Group was looking at developing three of the lots in conjunction doing a partnership with the city. One of the three lots they were looking was the same lots the Home Building Program was looking at. So there was some discussion at the last Lands Committee meeting about whether those folks could get together and decide which lots were the most amendable. We might look at getting rid of all six of those."
The Committee of the Whole convenes at 6:00 PM Monday in Assembly chambers at City Hall. It's preceded at 5:00 PM by a meeting of the Lands and Resources Committee.
