Assembly member says restructuring Permanent Fund will cost CBJ treasury

"We could lose up to $900,000 in sales tax revenue.", said Troll on Action Line.

There would be a significant impact to the coffers of the City and Borough of Juneau if the proposed bill restructuring the Alaska Permanent Fund clears the Legislature.

One provision calls for capping the Permanent Fund Dividend to a thousand dollars for three years.

Juneau Assembly member Kate Troll talked about the impact to the CBJ treasury while a guest on Action Line Friday.

The State House takes up the Senate approved measure this week.
