Juneau, Alaska (KINY) The Assembly Human Resources Committee meets Monday evening.
The panel will take up appointments of three members to the Juneau Economic Development Council. Two are general public seats. Council Executive Director Brian Holst says they are still recruiting for the third seat. That seat is designated for a non-profit environmental group. Holst says non one applied for that position so they have opened it for recruitment once again. "We're looking for somebody that believes in economic development, understands its role, but also brings to the board a perspective of the environmental community.

The Assembly committee will also take up one open public seat on the Youth Activities Board and the seats designated for the Juneau Arts and Humanities Council and the Juneau Sports Association.
The Human Resources Committee is scheduled to convene at 6 p.m. Monday in Assembly Chambers at City Hall.
