31-year-old Reyna Marie Regalado was arrested under suspicion of Burglary in the First Degree and Theft in the Fourth Degree.
Juneau Police responded to a report of a residential burglary in the 4000 block of Taku Boulevard around 11 a.m. Wednesday, and a suspect was apprehended before nightfall.
Investigating officers determined entry had been gained into the home through a bedroom window. Several items of relatively low value had been taken from both inside and outside of the home, and the suspect apparently coiled a garden hose in the yard, and swept off the front porch. Additionally, the victim said one of the items taken had been returned within the past hour.
Based on observations of both the scene and of a person contacted by JPD officers earlier in the day, a potential suspect was developed.
While officers were still investigating the burglary, the suspect appeared at the residence. The woman, 31 year-old Reyna Marie Regalado, was arrested for Burglary in the First Degree and Theft in the Fourth Degree.
She was lodged at the Lemon Creek Correctional Center without bail.
