Burglar found sleeping in Ketchikan

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) Ketchikan Police came in contact with a sleeping man who allegedly possessed stolen merchandise.

    A dispatch from Police stated officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of Denali Avenue to a report someone had entered a residence during the night. Officers searched the area and located Orion Timmerman, 21, sleeping in a vehicle behind the residence. Mr. Timmerman was found to be in possession of property taken from two residences including prescription medication. Mr. Timmerman was charged with two counts of burglary in the first degree, trespass in the second degree, theft in the third degree, theft in the fourth degree and misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance. He was served a summons to appear in court, charging him with criminal trespass at a residence for a prior incident. He was transported to the state jail and held without bail.
