CBJ Assembly appoints Kirsten Shelton-Walker to Planning Commission

    The City and Borough of Juneau Assembly has appointed Kirsten Shelton-Walker to the vacant seat on the Planning Commission for a term beginning immediately and expiring December 31, 2017.

    The City and Borough of Juneau Assembly has appointed Kirsten Shelton-Walker to the vacant seat on the Planning Commission for a term beginning immediately and expiring December 31, 2017.

    In a press release, the Assembly stated that they would like to thank all those individuals who submitted applications for consideration.

    The Assembly sitting as the Human Resources Committee will conduct the same application and interview process for the upcoming CBJ empowered boards.

    CBJ has a number of boards and commissions with vacancies occurring at various times during the year.

    Applications for the Aquatics Board and the Docks & Harbors Board are due May 31, and interviews will take place June 15th. Airport Board and Eaglecrest Ski Area Board applications are due June 15th, with interviews taking place June 31.
