Anchorage, Alaska (KINY) A motorist apparently didn't see a small child playing near her vehicle Tuesday.
Carlito Allen Ramos, who was 4-years-old, died when he was struck by a sport utility vehicle as it backed out of a parking place.
Anchorage police said the woman driving the vehicle, stopped and called for help. The boy was transported by private vehicle by his father and died at the hospital. No charges were immediately filed and an investigation is ongoing. Carlito was the youngest of four children.
