Couple wanted in Texas arrested in Juneau

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Fugitives from justice from Texas was nabbed by Alaska Wildlife Troopers in Juneau Wednesday.

    The arrest came after Troopers conducted a traffic stop on a pickup truck.  The driver was identified as 36 year old Christopher Glover of Texas.  With him in the vehicle was 35 year old Angela Malone.

    Investigation revealed Glover did not have a valid operator’s license and no proof of insurance.  Further investigation revealed Glover had a $100,000 warrant that was extraditable out of Texas, and Malone had a $150,000 warrant that was extraditable out of Texas.  

    Glover and Malone were arrested on their warrants and  jailed at the Lemon Creek Correctional Facility.  

    Once at the jail, corrections officers located contraband, prescription drugs on Malone.

    Glover was charged with fugitive from justice and operating a vehicle without a valid operator’s license.  Malone was charged with Fugitive from Justice and promoting contraband in the second degree.
