District Courts Finalize Several Drug Related Cases

    Juneau, AK (KINY) - Several drug cases were resolved in US District Court.

    35-year-old Losia Faletgo of Seattle pled guilty to distribution of heroin and methamphetamine in Petersburg. He received five years of supervised release.

    39-year-old Carlos Zavala-Flores pled guilty to conspiracy to distribute cocaine and marijuana. Authorities say they seized 6 point 8 pounds of cocaine and nearly 22 pounds of marijuana bound from Oregon to Alaska. He received three years in prison and five years of supervised release.

    Christian Peters of Juneau received three years in prison after authorities say they intercepted a US mail package that contained 221 grams of methamphetamine.

    36 year old Zerisenay Gebregiorgis received 121 months in federal prison for trying to smuggle in heroin and methamphetamine
    to Alaska.
