Disturbance leads to two arrests

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) A subject wanted on warrants tried to elude arrest by hiding in a cupboard Saturday.

    Juneau police were dispatched to the report of a disturbance in the 800 block of Dixon Street just before 1:30 am.  Officers reported Lisa Kuhr, 45, was arrested on three outstanding warrants and a new charge of criminal mischief.

    She was being monitored by the court with an ankle monitor.  She was accused of cutting off the monitor.  Police also charged Alfred McKinley, 59 with interfering with police for attempting to hide Kuhr in a cupboard.

    Police said alcohol played a role in the incident.
