Drugs seized in airport parking lot

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) A 34 year old Ketchikan man was held without bond after authorities said they found methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia in a car at the Ketchikan airport Wednesday night.

    A dispatch from Alaska State Troopers said they spotted a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot and when they investigated further they found some methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia around 10 pm Wednesday.

    Erick Swenson, was charged with misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree and was remanded to the Ketchikan Correctional Center.  Ketchikan Police assisted Troopers in the investigation.
