Administration Commissioner Sheldon Fisher to fill a seat on the six-member board.
The seat on the Permanent Fund Board of Trustees reserved for a member of the governor's cabinet will be filled by Administration Commissioner Sheldon Fisher.
Governor Walker appointed Fisher Tuesday to the six-member board.
Fisher worked as a financial manager in Anchorage before he was put in charge of the Department of Admnistration.
Governor Walker says Fisher's experience and awareness of the state's fiscal challenges make him a strong asset to the Permanent Fund Corporation.
