Lots of rain and possibly stormy seas are in store for the rest of the Golden North Salmon Derby weekend.

Meteorologist Bob Thantz with the National Weather Service in Juneau says, "Yeah! It's definitely going to be kind of rough out there. We have 25 knots today, 20 knots tonight, and then it's going to come back up to 25 knots on Sunday."

He adds there's a small craft advisory out at least for Saturday and we should expect moderate rain fall, but heavy at times.

There's a 100% chance of rain for Saturday and Sunday. The high both days is expected to be 59 and tonight's low to be near 51. New precipitation amounts on Sunday are expected to be between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
