Indictments returned for drugs and other crimes

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Three indictments were returned by a Juneau Grand Jury.

    A Juneau woman charged with assault in the third degree.    Bethany Kunkle, 33, was indicted by the grand jury for allegedly making threats to a man with a knife on May 13, 2018.

    .Kunkle was picked up by Juneau Police and held at Lemon Creek to await a court appearance.

    In other indictments.

    Anna Glombowski, 62, was indicted on charges of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the second degree.

    Glombowski allegedly dropped off a package at the Haines post office to a man who was working in Craig.  US Postal inspectors investigated
    when she told the post office she was mailing CDs. and it was an obvious lie.

    Authorities obtained a search warrant for the package and claimed they located seven grams of methamphetamine inside a bag of Juju Fish candy.

    Kelly Stephens, 34, of Juneau was indicted on charges of vehicle theft in the first degree.  Stephens was stopped in a Subaru Legacy in Lemon Creek for traffic violations on March 4.  Juneau Police learned the vehicle had been stolen March 1st.   Stephens says he and a female were living
    in the vehicle.
