JPD to auction off vehicles Saturday

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - Juneau Police will conduct an auction of unclaimed and forfeited vehicles this Saturday.

    Registration gets underway at 9 a.m. and bidding starts at 10 a.m., according to Public Safety Manager Erann Kalwara.

    She  says there are 63 vehicles, everything from a 1976 Honda motorcycle to a 2012 Nissan SUV.

    The minimum bid is $75, although it may be higher in some cases depending on additional costs.

    That information is available on the department's web site which includes a list of the vehicles and photos.

    The  auction will be conducted a 9390 La Perouse Avenue in the airport area.
