Juneau drenched in record rainfall Friday

    JUNEAU, Alaska (KINY, Lori James) - Juneau was drenched in record rainfall Friday, but enjoyed partly sunny skies Saturday.

    The National Weather Service reports  2.54 inches of rain beat the old record of 1.34 inches set in 1995.
    It was relatively dry Saturday with only 0.07  inches reported.
    The forecast calls for more sun on Sunday. The high is expected to be in the upper 50's.
    Rain is to return on Monday.
