Juneau man arrested for July burglary of Glacier Gardens

    25-year-old Christopher Whitehead was arrested on one count of Burglary 2nd Degree and one count of Theft 3rd Degree.

    A Juneau man has been arrested on burglary charges stemming from an incident that took place last month.

    JPD officers arrested 25-year-old Christopher Whitehead Thursday, August 11th on one count of Burglary 2nd Degree and one count of Theft 3rd Degree.

    On July 25th, staff of Glacier Gardens reported a burglary had occurred sometime during the night. Miscellaneous coins valued at $60, gold flakes valued at $120, candy bars valued at $30, and a trash can were all stolen.

    Several buildings located on the Glacier Highway property had been accessed and multiple items were missing and out of order. A greenhouse sustained a small amount of damage in an apparent attempt to gain entry into the structure and various tools were moved and relocated around the property.

    Whitehead was transported to Lemon Creek Correctional Center, where he was held without bail.
