JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) — A group of seniors called Juneau Seniors Supporting Seniors registered as a special interest group with the Alaska Public Offices Commission, looking to make a difference in the upcoming Oct. 3 election.
A new group has been formed and registered with the Alaska Public Offices Commission.
Known as the Juneau Seniors Supporting Seniors, the group is seeking to restore full senior sales tax exemptions. Restrictions on the sales tax has been in effect for two years.
