Juneau, AK-(KINY) The Juneau Symphony opens it's fall season tonight. Before the concert there will be a conversation about music between Music Director Troy Quinn and the audience.

Before the concert there will be a conversation about music between Music Director Troy Quinn and the audience.  This was to allow the audience to learn more about the music that will be played and to ask questions.  You have another chance to attend the symphony opening performance Sunday with the conversation starting at 2pm and the performance at 3pm at Juneau Douglas High School.

News of the North spoke with Quinn, who was described himself as aglow after the rehearsal Friday.  The symphony is performing two pieces never before done in Juneau, and one includes a spectacular violin solo.

Quinn is also excited that the performance scheduled for June features the music of James Bond movies, a collection that has even interested high school students Quinn has met.
