Man indicted for crash that injured son

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) Charles Teal, 38, was indicted for third degree assault and DUI charges.

    Alaska State Troopers said Mr. Teal was behind the wheel of an SUV that left mile 14 of the North Tongass Highway last October 18, struck a row of trees and came to rest partially submerged in water.

    The Troopers said Teal and his son were injured in the crash.  Teal was trapped in the vehicle and had to be rescued by members of the North Tongass Fire and EMS, Ketchikan Fire Department and other agencies.
