Man rescued after falling through ice

    Willow, Alaska (KINY) - Alaska State Troopers said a 62-year-old was cold but found in good shape by rescuers.

    A Trooper Dispatch said they received a report of a snow-machiner who may have fallen through the ice near Red Shirt Lake in Willow.

    Troopers also reported they responded to his last known location and coordinated efforts for the search.  Troopers went on to report that a Trooper helicopter was nearby and assisted in the search.

    The man was found in good health about an hour later.  Willow and Caswell Lakes Fire and Rescue assisted in the search.
