Missing Son Found to be Safe by JPD and Searches

    Juneau, AK (KINY) - A mother in Juneau asked for assistance with law enforcement after her 16-year-old son was reported to be missing from his apartment.

    Ketchikan Troopers just after midnight on Tuesday received the word about the situation and were asked by JPD to assist. The young man was reported to be mentally handicapped and had been missing for a few hours. Alaska Seadogs also assisted in the search and around 3 am were able to find the young man unharmed in the 1700 block of the Glacier Highway.

    The young man was delivered to his mother and all searchers were recalled.
