Fairbanks, Alaska (KINY) Police said the mother did online searches on how to get away with murder.
Stephany Lafountain, 23, was charged in the death of a 4-month-old girl in 2015 and a 13-month-old girl in November, 2017. Both victims showed signs of suffocation.
Lafountain was held at the Fairbanks Correctional Center and is expected to be arraigned today on charges of first and second-degree murder.
Police said Lafountainsearched online on how to kill without being detected, searching for ways to suffocate, best ways to suffocate and ways to kill a human with no proof. She also searched suffocating and smothering, and how to commit the perfect murder.
