No Foul Play Involved With Remains Found In Juneau Hot Tub

    The autopsy report has be completed for a 28-year-old Juneau woman whose remains were found in a hot tub. Foul play is not suspected and the case has been closed.

    Juneau Police Department Spokesman Lt. David Campbell reports the autopsy has been completed on a deceased woman found in a hot tub at a Juneau residence on August 21, 2017.

    Lt. Campbell says JPD received the completed autopsy report of August 9, 2017.  The official cause of death contained language that is not appropriate for release due to privacy issues.  The totality of the evidence has led investigators to conclude foul play is not suspected and the investigation can be closed. 

    The deceased woman, 28 year old Alexis Ashley Ehlers had been missing for a week before her body was found.  She had been distraught over personal issues and walked away from a very minor vehicle collision on August 13, 2017.
