North Pole man recovering after Vegas shooting

Fairbanks, Alaska (KINY) An Alaska man shot three times in the Las Vegas mass shooting case, has been released from a hospital but can't travel back to Alaska until he recovers further.

Rob McIntosh will stay in a motel under a nurse's care for the next two weeks before he attempts to fly back to the North Pole.  Mr. McIntosh was shot three times October 1 at the Route 91 Harvest Festival.  A friend and other men carried him over a fence to a shelter under the stage under the shooting stopped.

The men used clothing, shirts and even their fingers to try and stop the bleeding and keep McIntosh alive.  He is a former girls basketball coach at North Pole High School.
