Anchorage, AK (AP) - A man driving a stolen vehicle in Anchorage was caught by the original owner and eventually brought into custody by police.
Cody Iverson, 23-years-old of Anchorage was spotted Wednesday afternoon at an east-side gas station by the owner of the truck. Police blocked in Iverson and then had to give chase when he fled on foot, carrying a gun that was left in the truck by the owner. Iverson tossed the gun while running and was eventually captured by police.
Iverson had given police a false name, but upon learning his true identity, he was taken into custody on two felony warrants. A female passenger is also being charged with joyriding.
