Plane makes emergency landing

    Ketchikan, Alaska (KINY) There was no report of injury after a plane made an emergency landing near Meyers Chuck.

    Alaska State Troopers reported the incident occurred Monday at 2 pm.  They were notified by Ketchikan Flight Services of a 'mayday' broadcast.  Troopers reported the airplane piloted by Allyn Morris, 55, of Woodinville, Washington, made the emergency landing soon afterward.

    Troopers also reported that Morris was located uninjured and transported back to Ketchikan by the Ketchikan Volunteer Rescue Squad.  A helicopter was used in the search.
