Police solve business burglaries quickly

Juneau, Alaska (KINY) It didn't take long for Juneau Police to collar an alleged burglar this weekend.

Officers in the area said they soon pulled over a vehicle with a suspect inside that matched the description of the suspect seen trying to break in.  The suspect vehicle, a 2000 Cadillac was located on Del Rae Road.

Shawn Travis Beaird, 35, was charged with three counts of burglary second degree, two counts of criminal mischief third degree, criminal mischief in the fourth degree and two counts of theft in the fourth degree.  Police were also able to recover all the cash stolen from the businesses.
