Juneau, AK (KINY) - Work on restoring the playground at Twin Lakes continues, but they could use a neighborly hand when it comes to tools for the upcoming volunteer-driven weekend.
The Project Playground Steering Committee have put out a request for tool donations during the Community Build on August 8-12th. They are in need of: Miter chop saws, tarps, impact drivers, levels, wood rasp, extension cords, speed squares, saw horses, chalk lines, chisel sets, hammers, hard hats, routers and router tables, measuring tape, and wheelbarrows.
Anyone with any of those tools are asked to drop them off at Twin Lakes this Saturday between noon and 4pm. Tools will be returned after the build.
