Another special session of the Legislature convenes Monday.

Juneau Representative Sam Kito said on Action Line last week, "There is frustration that we are still in session or getting ready to go into another session, but there's acknowledgement we need to do something about our fiscal situation."

He was asked why that hasn't happened to this point:

"Part of that has to do with some of the challenges of legislative leadership and figuring out how to bring people together. That's one of the things that I'm going to work really hard on this special session. I do think we have work that we can do and it's a matter of trying to get people to start communicating with each other finding a positive way to move forward. We all know we need to do something. It's a matter of how we sit down and figure out what that something is."
