Sarah Palin selling Scottsdale home for $2.27 million

    SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (AP) — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has sold her Arizona home for $2.27 million.

    The Arizona Republic reports that the six-bedroom, 7,900-square-foot home in Scottsdale was originally listed for $2.5 million. A company in which Sarah Palin was a part of bought it in 2011 for nearly $1.7 million.

    The house sits on a 5-acre compound that includes a six-car garage, pool, full-length basketball court and putting green.

    Sen. John McCain of Arizona picked Palin as his running mate during his 2008 presidential bid.
