FBI Arrests Two Juneau Men On Drug Distribution Charges

Former Bergman Hotel manager Charles E. Cotten Jr. and Ricky Stapler Lisk have been arrested on federal drug charges, according to Juneau FBI Special Agent Matt Judy. Judy says the two arrests and the service of two search warrants all happened on Friday.

The operation involved multiple agencies working with the FBI.  The JPD Swat Team assisted as did DEA Agents, US Coast Guard Investigative Services Officers, and a US Postal Inspector.

Cotten Jr. was arrested during the service of the search warrant at the Baranof Hotel.  JPD officers arrested Lisk around 8pm last night.  Both men are expected in Federal Court either Monday or Tuesday but those appearances have not yet been scheduled.

Special Agent Judy says Cotten Jr. faces 4 counts of drug distribution and Lisk faces 1 count.  All of the charges have to do with the distribution of methamphetamine within the last year.
