Senior Citizen Sales Tax Hardship Rebate applications due

    Rebate qualification is based on an applicant’s gross annual income. Rebates are set at $325 per individual. Married couples may file a joint application for a rebate totaling $650.

    The City and Borough of Juneau announces that Senior Citizen Sales Tax Hardship Rebate applications must be received by the CBJ Sales Tax Office or postmarked no later than Thursday, June 30th.

    Rebate qualification is based on an applicant’s gross annual income.

    News of the North spoke with CBJ Sales Tax Administrator Clinton Singletary, who says rebates will be issued by the end of September.

    The application and filing instructions for the rebate can be found on the CBJ website.
