Stabbing in downtown Juneau

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) An argument between two men Thursday night landed one man in the hospital and the other in jail, Police said.

    Lucas Schneider, 39, was charged with second degree assault, a felony, and fourth degree assault, a misdemeanor, for allegedly stabbing the 44 year old victim multiple times in the 300 block of Fourth Street.  The victim was transported by Capital City Fire Rescue to Bartlett Regional Hospital for treatment.   The victim was treated and released.  Police said the victim called police around 6:50 pm and requested that they remove Schneider from the home after he had struck him in the side.  Later a female called and said the victim had been stabbed

    Juneau Police said they located the suspect in the downtown area about six hours after the attack.  He was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and was held without bail.
