State oil and gas chief leaving post

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KENI) - The head of the State Division of Oil and Gas is stepping down.

The Alaska Dispatch reports that Corri Feige (fy-kee), the wife of former Representative Eric Feige of Sutton, will leave the division effective October 3rd.

She says she wants to cut down on the long commute from Sutton to Anchorage.

It's the latest turnover within the Department of Natural Resources, after former Commissioner Mark Myers retired,  and so did his replacement, Marty Rutherford.
