Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A former state lawmaker from Chugiak has left the new administration of Gov. Mike Dunleavy after less than a month.
According to the Anchorage Daily News, Dunleavy spokesperson Jeff Turner confirmed by email that Bill Stoltze left the administration on Dec. 21. Turner did not give the reason for Stoltze’s departure.
Stoltze, who served in the state House between 2003 and 2014, then in the Senate during 2015-2016, was appointed by Dunleavy to direct his office in the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
