Fairbanks, Juneau (KINY) - Fairbanks police are looking for information regarding a stabbing and vehicle theft that happened on Wednesday.
Troopers received a report that a woman had been stabbed multiple times and that her vehicle had been stolen by an unknown adult female. Lisa Behr, a 66-year-old woman of Fairbanks, was the victim of the incident; she was transported to the Fairbanks Memorial Hospital where she underwent surgery for life threatening injuries. Behr's vehicle, a 2006 Ridgeline was found a short distance away from where it had been stolen, near mile 341 of the George Parks Highway.
Investigation lead to the arrest of 35-year-old Lindsay Preshaw of Fairbanks. Preshaw is being charged with one count of attempted murder in the first, assault in the first, and vehicle theft in the first.
Lindsay Preshaw is currently the primary suspect in the death of Jack Preshaw, who was recently found dead in his home. FPD are not currently looking for additional suspects.
