Suspected crook returns to scene of theft with stolen shoes

A pair of shoes stolen from the Sportsman's Warehouse August 27 was recovered Saturday when the suspected crook returned to the store.

A police dispatch says 31 year old William Hardy  was caught allegedly shoplifting again, but this time detained by store employees.

The shoes were originally valued at $139, but the police dispatch says they were no longer of value since they had been worn for the past three weeks.

Hardy was cited this time for allegedly stealing $35 in merchandise and released.
