Teen charged with assaulting mom

    Kake, Alaska (KINY) A boy was locked up after he allegedly repeatedly assaulted his mother, Alaska State Troopers reported Tuesday.

    The Trooper dispatch stated Juneau Troopers were notified of an assault incident in Kake around 2 pm on September 28.  They quickly responded and found the 14 year old had physically assaulted, chased and continued to assault his mother at a residence on Silver Spike Road.  Troopers added that the youth was transported to the Johnson Youth Center in Juneau and was charged with four degree assault, and fifth degree criminal mischief.
