Troopers report arrest of suspected drug dealer in Ketchikan

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A suspected drug dealer was busted at the airport in Ketchikan last week.

    According to a dispatch issued by Alaska State Troopers Thursday, 34 year old Erik Swenson of Ketchikan was contacted Wednesday evening in a vehicle parked at the airport.  

    Troopers says he was in possession of methamphetamine and paraphernalia associated with distributing narcotics.

    Swenson was arrested on a charge of misconduct involving a controlled substance in the  second degree and jailed at the  Ketchikan Correctional Center on no  Bail.  

    The dispatch thanks  the Ketchikan Police Department for its assistance with the investigation.
