Bethel, Alaska (KINY) Two men face charges for shooting the moose in closed season.
Teddy Dull, 39, nad Elliot Tulik, 31, allegedly shot the moose and salvaged the meat on July 9, State Troopers said.
Troopers also reported that the shooting took place in Nightmute. Both suspects were charged with taking a moose during a closed season and unlawful possession of game. Alaska Wildlife Troopers seized the moose meat and a rifle used in the incident. They donated the meat to the Bethel Senior Home.
