Two small quakes recorded in Southeast Alaska

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - The Alaska Earthquake Center reports a 2.9 magnitude tremor occurred near Gustavus and Juneau Friday evening.

    It was recorded at 8:50 p.m.


    It’s epicenter was 45 miles west northwest of Gustavus and 94 miles northwest of Juneau.


    A 2.0 magnitude quake was recorded Saturday morning at 4:06 about 48 miles west northwest of Skagway.
