JUNEAU, Alaska (KINY) - One matter up for discussion at last week's University of Alaska Board of Regents meeting in Juneau last week was changing the way how each of the three main campuses are accredited.
Keni Campbell of the University of Alaska Southeast explained how that ended up.
"It was decided that, for now, they're going to continue with three separately accredited universities," according to Campbell. "There was quite a discussion about whether or not to have a single accreditation, but they decided to continue as we were."
The discussion on that was spurred as the university explores cost savings.
