    Juneau police are investigating after a deceased man was found near Brotherhood Bridge Friday.

    UPDATE:

    Juneau police are investigating after a deceased man was found near Brotherhood Bridge Friday.

    Next of kin has been notified and according to information released Saturday, the deceased is identified as Peter James Wool, a 47 year old Alaska resident.

    Wool's body will be flown to Anchorage for an autopsy with the Medical Examiner's Office.

    Juneau police are investigating after a deceased man was found near Brotherhood Bridge.

    According to JPD, a 911 call was received from a female reporting concern over a person lying down in the grass near the Brotherhood Bridge at about 3:03 p.m. Juneau Police officers and Capital City Fire Rescue responded to the scene.

    The adult male subject was deceased upon their arrival. Officers have determined the identity of the subject who is believed to be an Alaskan resident but not from Juneau. Foul play is not suspected. Next of kin has not been notified.

    The investigation continues.
