Juneau, AK (KINY) - Volunteers are needed for the Fall Girls on the Run and Boys Run 5K fun run.
Girls on the Run inspires girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident, while the Boys Run empowers boys to create communities of respect. Both programs teach life skills, while creatively integrating running and concludes with all participants completing the celebratory 5K.
75 kids will be celebrating with the run on Saturday, December 2nd; things start at 10am.
Volunteer services needed include celebration assistance in face painting, games, and decorating the course, as well as running buddies to run or walk alongside one of the children, lastly they will be need help setting up and cleaning up before and after the event. Those who do volunteer are being asked to show up an hour early.
