St. Vincent de Paul's sixth annual Walk for the Poor is this Saturday.
Executive Director Dan Austin says the walk begins at St. Paul's Catholic Church and proceeds to the Fred Meyer Store on the bike path and back.
Austin, who was a guest on Capital Chat this week, says it's a demonstration of their solidarity with the people who are not quite so fortunate
There's no fee involved, but Austin says donations are welcomed.
The donations will be used to support their Thanksgiving Baskets and the Christmas Adopt a Family programs.
Registration is at nine and the walk begins at ten a.m.
