Training coaches to work with youth in preventing violence in our community is going on this weekend.
Saturday is training for Girls on the Run coaches, and Sunday is training for Boys on the Run coaches.
Saralyn Tabachnick , Executive Director for AWARE, was a guest on Capital Chat Friday, where she said the programs run after school for two days out of the week.

If your child would like to join, scholarships are available for Girls on the Run and Boys on the Run. The suggested contribution is $100.
Saturday afternoon here's a big shopping spree at Thunder Mountain High School to benefit Girls on the Run.
13 vendors will be selling their products and donating a portion of their proceeds to GOTR to support local scholarships. Vendors will be selling a great variety of things such as skincare, clothing, kitchenware, make-up, kids books, jewelry, and more there will be shaved ice and soft pretzels! It's Saturday afternoon from 1:00 until 4:00.
